Larry Taylor: My Mentor - My Friend

I met Larry Taylor when I was 8-years-old. Mom signed me up to take a few magic lessons to prepare for a little talent show my school was having. Little did I know that this man in front of me would change my life forever.

Larry never taught me push button magic. He started with the hard stuff and it kept getting harder. But, Mr. Taylor always makes it fun. Well, not always. Sometimes, he really gets after me.

Larry and June Taylor are the finest people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. I'm the magician I am today because of them. I love them very much.

Larry and I practicing cups and balls. If I flash, Larry says, "flash" and I have to start over. This is why I have learned so much. He makes me be my best.

Larry is teaching me a new close up routine. I may start competing in close up next year.

Sometimes, Mr. Taylor and I goof off. He says, "You have to have some fun in this." We make a game of different magic things.

Larry and June Taylor are like my second family. I love them both sooo much. I'm taller than June now, but she still says she is the boss of me. I just can't win. I'm a better person because of Larry and June.
